It did seem as if time slowed in the middle of the celebrations, and the worries of finals seemed to be left behind for a while, regardless of whether the students realized it or not.

Anzenberger set the theme as “Mission to the ‘Nones,’” young people who say when it comes to religion they believe “Nothing in Particular.”
With pumpkin painting, line dancing and henna tattoos, there was no shortage of attractions for the students to enjoy.

Every sermon began with a simple question: “Are you hungry?” When the student body shouted “Yes,” he opened his Bible and said, “Let’s eat.”
