Rams volleyball drawing media attention with 19-1 season start

The winning ways of the No. 23-ranked CIU Rams volleyball team is getting attention these days. The Rams have a 15-game win streak and a record of 19-1 and 9-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
The team has been the regular season conference champions three years in a row, won its conference tournament twice, and last year made it to the school's first ever national tournament.
Columbia TV station WACH FOX 57 caught up with the team in early October to discover how the Rams sustain success and continue to raise the bar despite challenges along the way. The station talked to the Rams right side hitter and graduate student Kira Rymer Attaway, Head Coach Katie Weise and defensive specialist Kelcey Mangum, a junior, in this report by Claire Foley: “CIU women's volleyball looks to sustain success despite obstacles.”
