Ram Fans Turn Out Big for Volleyball

In what was perhaps the CIU Rams best-attended volleyball home match ever, attendance exceeded 300 fans on “Pack the House” night. As an incentive, students were promised a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich if attendance exceeded 300 guests.

It was a victorious evening. Not only was attendance exceeded by 46 guests, but the CIU Rams knocked off Appalachian Athletic Conference foe, the Union College (Kentucky) Bulldogs 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-20).

CIU Head Volleyball Coach Amber Haver said the fans were “great” and offered a huge thanks to everyone who attended, adding, “Our amazing staff did a fantastic job.”
