Columbia International University (CIU) is excited to announce the largest expansion of traditional undergraduate scholarship offerings in its history, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to making high-quality Christian education accessible to more students. For incoming Fall 2024 students, CIU is introducing 11 new scholarships, increasing the amounts of five existing scholarships, and offering six full-tuition scholarships.

Highlights of the Scholarship Expansion:

1. 11 New Scholarships: CIU is launching 11 new scholarship opportunities to support a diverse range of students. These scholarships are designed to recognize students that have chosen a ministry gap year, those that are out of state, first-generation, community college transfers, home school attendees, as well as those that have excelled as a National/Semi-Finalist Merit Scholar, Valedictorian/Salutatorian, or pursuing Honors.
2. Increased Funding for Five Existing Scholarships: CIU is significantly increasing the funding for five of its current scholarships, solidifying the commitment to Alumni Legacy, Alumni referrals, Ben Lippen School graduates, and dependents whose parents are missionaries or serving in a full-time ministry capacity.
3. Six Full-Tuition Scholarships: Six scholarships will cover 100% of tuition, eliminating financial barriers for students demonstrating exceptional potential to positively contribute to the overall campus and continue CIU’s mission.
4. Stackable Scholarships: All CIU scholarships are stackable up to the full cost of tuition after state and federal aid is applied. This flexibility allows students to combine various awards, maximizing their financial aid packages and minimizing out-of-pocket expenses.
5. Universal Financial Aid: In a remarkable move, CIU guarantees that 100% of its full-time undergraduate students will receive financial aid. This initiative underscores the university's dedication to providing affordable education to all its students.
