Celebrating the new spring semester with “Rebash”

Columbia International University kicked off the spring semester with “Rebash,” a New Year's-themed party. Doughnuts and mocktails in hand, the students celebrated each other’s arrival after a well-deserved break over the holidays.
The celebration took place in the Pine View Apartments Community Center, filled with festive decorations, delicious sweets, and enjoyed by a mix of formal- and casual-dressed students. A balloon-drop from the ceiling took the place of New York’s New Year’s Eve midnight ball drop.
There is even more to celebrate in the new year. At CIU’s first Chapel of the semester, President Dr. Bill Jones announced that the spring 2025 enrollment is the largest spring semester enrollment in CIU history! There are 2,854 CIU undergraduate and graduate students studying on campus and/or online.
