Roy M. Myers is a scholar and educator with primary expertise in spiritual care education, assessments, and chaplaincy ministry. He has extensive experience as a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) educator, curriculum designer, and teacher. He is an adjunct professor, teaching various topics, including CPE, practical theology, and chaplaincy. He recently retired (at the rank of Colonel) as an Army chaplain after nearly thirty-three years of service. During that time, Dr. Myers served in many positions, including as the Dean of the US Army Institute for Religious Leadership (Graduate School), the Command Chaplain for the US Army Medical Center of Excellence, Director of the Army Chaplain Clinical Pastoral Education System, Command Chaplain for the Area Support Group (Kuwait), Senior Chaplain Clinician, Group Chaplain, and Battalion Chaplain.

Roy is married to Dana Myers. She is a nurse practitioner who serves in home health care. They have two married adult children and two grandchildren.
