Dr. Brian Simmons is a professor in the College of Education and Director of the Ed.D. and Ed.S. programs. He is a lifetime educator and has served as a teacher, Superintendent of two Christian schools, university Vice President, adjunct professor and association President.  Dr. Simmons' life mission states, "Brian Simmons exists as a visionary builder to further the kingdom of God through education, teaching and influencing others."  His primary goal in life is to be a faithful steward of all the Master has entrusted to his care.  He and his wife, Bonnie have four adult children and one grandson: Jared (wife Mary Claire and son Teagan Scott), Drew (wife Stefanie), Lindi (husband Matt),and Aubrey (finacé Zach).

Program Director, Columbia International University, 2013-present.
