Columbia International University is celebrating significant enrollment growth this fall, with total preliminary enrollment climbing to 3,239 students, a 10% increase from last year’s final census of 2,934.
Traditional undergraduate enrollment rose to 670 students, led by an entering class of 285 students (our largest to date). This incoming class marks a 20% increase from last year’s 238. A major contributor to this momentum is the Nursing and Health Sciences programs, which now include more than 180 students preparing for careers of service and impact in health-related fields.
Graduate and online programs also experienced substantial growth, reaching more than 2,300 students combined. Among the fastest growing areas are CIU’s master of arts and doctoral programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, equipping graduates to meet the urgent need for Christ-centered mental health professionals in communities across the nation and around the world.
Another factor fueling CIU’s record enrollment is the launch of innovative scholarship programs, making a CIU education accessible to more students and families while reinforcing the university’s commitment to affordability.
