The CIU Rams women’s volleyball team won its fourth consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Regular-Season Championship by sweep Reinhardt (Ga.) 25-23, 25-15, 25-21. It is the Rams’ third straight outright regular-season crown, as they shared the honor with Bryan (Tenn.) as co-champions in 2021. Head Coach Katie Weiss now holds a 38-2 conference record in two years at the helm of the women’s volleyball program.
The 2024 team finishes the regular season at 29-2 overall and 19-1 in the AAC. The Rams have not lost a regular-season match at home since the 2020 season.
CIU awaits the release of the AAC Tournament schedule as the Rams know for certain they will play in a quarterfinal match as the No. 1 overall seed on Nov. 15 in Kingsport.
