Columbia International University’s Master of Divinity in Muslim-Christian Relations equips you with biblical-theological knowledge and practical skills for ministry leadership. You will study the history, philosophy, and theology of Islam, as well as the historical interactions between Muslims and Christians. This program deepens your understanding of the Christian faith by comparing it with Islam, preparing you to engage with Muslims in a missional way. With Muslims and Christians making up half of the global population, historical misunderstandings and conflicts have hindered meaningful dialogue, and the Muslim world remains one of the least reached areas for the gospel.
As a student, you will learn to analyze the content, context, and themes of Scripture with a focus on God’s redemptive mission, practice exegesis and exposition of biblical texts in their original languages, and address contemporary global challenges from a biblical perspective. You will also apply biblical principles to ministry, leadership, and counseling. You can study on campus in Columbia, South Carolina, or pursue the program online, with courses that fit your schedule.
