This course examines the psychological, social, cultural, and ethical factors that influence consumer decision-making processes. Students will explore how individuals and groups select, purchase, use, and dispose of goods, services, and ideas. Emphasis is placed on understanding consumer motivations, perception, attitudes, and behavioral patterns within diverse and global markets. The course also explores how digital environments and artificial intelligence are transforming consumer behavior through personalization, predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and evolving patterns of engagement and influence. Students will evaluate how organizations can responsibly engage consumers while maintaining integrity and trust.
This course explores the principles, strategies, and technologies that drive electronic commerce in today’s digital economy. Students will examine online business models, digital marketing, customer experience, and platform management within both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) contexts. Emphasis is placed on the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in areas such as personalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
