Biography
Melina Rabon joined the CIU faculty in 2015, became assistant dean in 2019, and 2024 associate dean. She oversees internships for the Seminary & School of Counseling. Dr. Rabon teaches Spiritual Formation and Practical Ministry studies courses in the MA, MDiv, and PhD programs. She is a member of the Society of Professors in Christian Education. Before coming to Columbia, she served as a Children’s Director in Louisiana and a Women’s Leadership Coordinator in Pennsylvania. She served as a Children’s Pastor in Columbia, SC. Dr. Rabon has ministered cross-culturally in Belgium and Mexico.
