Biography
Professor Malaysia Barr is a native of Batesburg-Leesville, S.C. She is a gifted communicator with a deep love for writing, storytelling, and connection, an affinity she nurtures through her platform, Chosen Grace, where she publishes blog posts and hosts a podcast.
This passion for communication carries directly into her work in the classroom, where she believes every student deserves to be seen, valued, and respected regardless of background, culture, or experience. Guided by that belief, she cultivates a learning environment that is both warm and intellectually engaging, one where students are treated not as numbers, but as people who matter.
Outside of her professional life, she is devoted to family and friends and enjoys reading and crocheting in her spare time.
