Biography
Growing up in beautiful Northwestern Connecticut provided a strong appreciation for the Carolina sunshine. While I enjoyed the northern seasons, I love the south and am grateful to be here in Columbia at CIU. Nursing has been a apart of my entire adult life. Being able to care for patient’s across the lifespan has been one of my greatest rewards. I have been fortunate to have an expansive career which includes med/surg, ICU, neurosciences, maternal nursing, nursing education and being an nursing entrepreneur. It is a true honor to be a part of the future generations of nurses.
I enjoy gardening, women’s sports, and speeding time in the community through outreach and volunteerism.
