Debbie Moore

Debbie Moore, Ph.D., is an education professor at Columbia International University who equips educators to use biblical integration within content areas and teach with intentionality to lead students in their spiritual formation. This shapes the strategies in the classroom so that relationships are key to developing the individual.

While a professor at CIU, Debbie has traveled to Ethiopia, China, Malaysia and teacher conferences in the US to teach and provide professional development to educators desiring to grow both in their knowledge and skills from a biblical worldview. As an alumnus of the CIU PhD program, she gained valuable insight from the professors and courses. With this knowledge, she enjoys advising students toward finishing their master’s and doctoral degrees.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Debbie met her husband David at college, and they have since lived in North Carolina and Georgia. They have two married adult children, Lindsay (Paul) and Erica (Brian) and four grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, reading, walking, and drinking coffee.
