🙏 Prayer Day: A Campus-Wide Day of Worship & Reflection
At the heart of Columbia International University is a commitment to spiritual formation. Prayer Days are dedicated moments each semester when we pause academic routines, cancel classes, and come together – students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends – to focus on one of our core values. Through worship, teaching, prayer, and small group reflection, we seek renewal, unity, and a deeper connection with God and one another.
During this time, we require that all undergraduate students participate, though all students are welcome. Student workers may not work until 3 pm on Prayer Days.
Schedule:
- 8:30 am – Donuts in front of Shortess Chapel
- 8:45 – 9:15 am – Opening Gathering in Shortess
- 9:15 am – 12:00 pm – Join your community group and visit stations around campus
- 12:15 – 1:45 pm – Lunch & Break
- 2:00 – 2:30 pm – Closing Gathering in Shortess
