  • Deposit: $100 non-refundable Housing Deposit is required before moving in for the first semester. 
  • Room Requests: Single, double, or triple room requests and any preferences given on the Student Housing Application are based on availability and not guaranteed. Due to the volume of requests, first choice may not be available. A 10-meal plan option is available for students with documented allergies.
  • Exclusions: Living expenses (housing & meals) do not include mid-semester breaks and the time between semesters (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break).
  • RAM Cards: Students on a CIU meal plan will have $100 per semester added to their Student ID to use at 34 North Coffee Shop.
  • Pine View Apartments: Students approved by Residence Life to live in the Pine View Apartments will be charged the rate for a two-person room, will not have an unlimited meal plan, but will receive a $500 declining balance per semester for dining hall meals.
