Prior to attending Welcome Weekend, complete all the items in the New Student Checklist.

Explore all of the exciting events we have planned to help you get acclimated to life on campus.
Are You Ram Ready?
You must be Ram Ready to check-in for Welcome Week.
Submit Your Deposit — This non-refundable $100 deposit ensures that you are committed to attending & secures your place in your residence hall and classrooms. Submit the deposit here.
Complete Your Housing Application — On-campus housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to complete this step early! Complete the application in MyCIU under Campus Life > Residence Life.
Register for Classes — After acceptance, you can set up an appointment with your Academic Advisor to select and register for your classes. Find your Advisor in MyCIU under Academics > Advising.
Submit the Health Forms — All incoming students are required to submit their Health Forms to ensure they meet CIU’s health and immunization requirements. Complete the forms here.
Submit a Photo for Your Student ID — You’ll use your student ID card throughout your time at CIU. Follow the submission instructions on your new student checklist in order to pick up your ID at move-in.
Submit your Final, Official Transcripts — To confirm your graduation and finalize your enrollment, your official transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope or electronically through a third party transcript facilitator.
Review Payment Options– Bills must be resolved before moving in and starting classes.
Review Textbook Options– Learn how your textbooks will be provided, or update your preference to opt out and purchase them independently. Textbook charges will be added to your student account two weeks before classes begin.
