Dan Irvine

Rev. Dan Irvine is an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church and has a combined forty-seven years of ministry experience as Pastor, Christian Educator, Missionary, and Administrator. He most recently served with World Hope International as Haiti country director and national director of church engagement from 2018 until his retirement in 2024. Before his tenure at World Hope, Dan served as the Haiti field director from 2005–2008 for Global Partners, the overseas mission auxiliary of the Wesleyan Church. In 2008, he became the Caribe Atlantic Area Director administering denominational relationships with national churches leaders in seven districts in three countries with more than two hundred churches. During his service with both Global Partners and World Hope International Dan provided leadership to several emergency or disaster responses including the 2010 and 2021 earthquakes in Haiti.

Dan and his wife Joy have been married since 1977 and have five children and five grandchildren. The Irvines have been engaged in cross-cultural ministry since 1981 and have resided outside of their home culture for more than eighteen of those years, most of that time in Haiti.
