Biography

Dr. Blanchard joined CIU Global in 2021, where he teaches Philosophy and Ethics. He attended CIU as an undergraduate and in 2017 was the first student to graduate with a degree in Philosophy. He studied Philosophy of Religion at Talbot School of Theology and holds a PhD from the University of Aberdeen. His research focuses on metaethics, political theory, personal identity, and Augustine of Hippo. He has lived and taught in the US, Scotland, Korea, and China. He serves as a Theological Advisor to St George’s House at Windsor Castle. He and his wife have three Children and live in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
