Dr. Saharay Martinez joined the CIU faculty in 2021 and became the Psychology online program Director in 2024. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Virginia and along with teaching at the undergraduate level, she also has a small private practice, Renewed Well-Being, LLC.
Dr. Martinez has been married to her husband, Bryant, since 2017, and together, they are blessed to have two children, Gabriel and Sophia. As a military family, they have moved both within and outside the United States, with Japan being the farthest they have traveled.
In her spare time, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with her family, going on little adventures, and reading.
