IT Shop Student Worker

The IT Student Worker will support daily operations in the IT shop, helping maintain an organized, efficient, and secure workspace. This role is ideal for a college student interested in gaining hands on experience with hardware preparation, inventory processes, and general IT support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and organize IT workspaces, storage areas, and equipment.
• Prepare, image, and set up computers and related devices following department standards.
• Assist with tracking, labeling, and organizing IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and hardware checks as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment for staff and equipment.
• Complete other IT support tasks as needed.
Preferred Skills:
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
Work Environment:
This position involves hands on work with computers and physical inventory tasks. Training will be provided.
