Doctor of

Global Leadership

Develop as a Global Leader

If you serve in leadership within a mission agency, church, denomination, or nonprofit organization, the Doctor of Global Leadership program at Columbia International University is designed to come alongside you in your calling. This doctoral program equips experienced leaders to think biblically and theologically about mission while navigating the complex cultural, organizational, and worldview dynamics shaping global ministry today.

Through focused seminars in biblical theology of mission, cultures and worldviews, contemporary mission practices, and missional leadership, you will engage some of the most pressing issues facing mission and nonprofit organizations. Along the way, you will reflect on best practices, deepen your theological foundation for leadership, and grow as a strategic, missional leader.

The program culminates in a final global leadership project that allows you to address a real challenge facing your team or organization integrating biblical insight, cultural understanding, and practical leadership to advance your mission in a complex global context.
