Description

The CIU database and research assistant will support CIU personnel with keeping current, relevant information about BLS and CIU alumni, current donors, friends and prospects. Constant attention, forethought and innovation is necessary to support and maintain clarity and accuracy in the database.

Responsibilities

Opens mail and counts checks and cash daily; proofreads gift entry and deposits checks using Treasury Navigator.
Assists CIU with alumni & donor records changes: address changes, biographical changes (deceased, marriages, births, employment, other relationships), record additions for new students; ensures proper record maintenance for BLS parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends.
Produces simple lists and reports for BLS and CIU.
Imports actions for all email communications from BLS and CIU using MailChimp and Importomatic.

Qualifications

Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT
Microsoft Products, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to analyze problems and determine solutions
Ability to handle numerous details with high rate of accuracy
Aptitude for mathematical reasoning
Bachelor’s degree or technical school diploma
At least two years of data entry experience preferred
