Description

The Jenzabar Services Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing the university’s Jenzabar ecosystem to include analyzing the performance and usability for departments, while serving as primary liaison between the university and the Jenzabar vendor.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, departmental processes, and technical processes involving the Jenzabar product and integrated systems, and propose pathways to optimize the effective use of the product.
  • Identify and facilitate resolutions to data quality issues in the Jenzabar product.
  • Develop plans/roadmaps and facilitate activities to direct and guide end-user training and the maturity of the university’s digital transformation with the Jenzabar product.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand reporting and other data workflow needs, serving as liaison between departments and Jenzabar and IT staff.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GLBA, FERPA) and internal data governance guidelines in regards to the Jenzabar SIS.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years’ experience supporting Jenzabar products and integrations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience with institutional data in higher education preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter willing to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects with converging deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Must be a problem solver demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and end user capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
