As a part of Columbia International University’s outreach to the community, the campus was made available to health care officials for drive-thru COVID-19 vaccinations on March 6.

CIU partnered with Prisma Health with over 100 doses of the vaccine administered. Employees of Prisma, the South Carolina National Guard, and The Richland County Sheriff’s Department were on hand to assist and serve at the event.

On March 27 another mobile vaccination event comes to campus to distribute to eligible populations.
