Dr. John Crutchfield was raised in the Cleveland, Ohio, area. After attending public (government) schools, he spent a year studying at the Torchbearer Schools in Europe (England and Austria), then Columbia International University, where he studied Bible, Philosophy, and Literature. He married his college sweetheart (Diane) in 1986 and they now have four grown children and three grandchildren. He has pastored two churches in Ohio before joining CIU’s faculty in 2001. Dr. Crutchfield is an ordained Anglican clergyman in the Diocese of the Carolinas.
