Ben Bryan serves as the Assessment Coordinator for the College of Education at CIU.  Originally from Laurens, SC, Ben has lived in the Columbia area for more than a decade.  He and his wife Susan (a CIU graduate) married in December 2010.  Ben joined CIU in 2011.  His primary responsibility is managing the assessment system for the College of Education, including state accreditation efforts.  Ben also advises undergraduates pursuing the five-year, two-degree program (Bachelors/Master of Arts in Teaching).  Ben feels blessed to have the opportunity to work at CIU and enjoys helping to prepare future educators for the classroom.
