Yes! Feel free to invite your family or other guests. Note that no childcare will be provided.

Yes. We will have registration forms available at registration on Sunday evening from 6:30 – 7:15 pm as well as Monday morning from 7:30 – 8:00 am for “walk-in registrants”. Please note: Students must register at least 2 weeks before the event if they wish to stay ovenight in the residence halls.

Yes! You can send any changes to your guest number to ttindle@ciu.edu. Please indicate event title and event date along with the changes.

- The week of the event you will receive an email with your host information.
- We will connect you with your host during Residence hall check-in.

If your friend is also interested in attending CIU, he or she is considered a prospective student and MUST register too. Guests (parents, family friends, family members) are not considered prospective students and do not need to register; however, please indicate your number of guests on your registration form.

CIU provides complimentary pick up and drop off at the Columbia Airport. Please arrange pick up/drop off at least two weeks in advance. Contact Tina Tindle at 1.800.777.2227, ext. 5058 or ttindle@ciu.edu .

The only cost incurred by students participating in the event is travel to and from Columbia. Meals are provided for all prospective students and their guests. CIU also provides complimentary overnight accommodations in the Residence Halls for single prospective students who request to stay on campus at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Your Bible and, if spending the night in the residence halls, a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, alarm clock, and umbrella (if forecast calls for rain).

The dress for CIU Preview is casual. Students typically wear t-shirts/other tops and jeans/pants/skirts to class.Please do not wear shorts. To view our dress code click Student Handbook.

A hotel list is available for married students and/or family members/guests staying overnight in the Columbia area. CIU also has a limited number of guest rooms available for $45/night in our Alumni Center.
