Stephanie Solomon was born and reared in New Haven, CT, a place she still considers home. The Lord led her to join CIU's ministry in May 2005 and she enjoys her job immensely. She decided to become a librarian while trying to decide what career would be most suitable given her personality and interests. After much soul searching and research she discovered that she actually enjoyed the process of research and went to library school. She has worked as a librarian since September 2001. Her passions are learning as much as possible about various subjects and studying the Word of God. She is also passionate about sharing what she has learned to all and sundry. One of her future goals is to teach. Considering the fact that there is so much information available to people today, especially via the Internet, one important aspect of her job is to ensure that people are able to use information with discernment. As Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Her hobbies include reading and playing cards and strategy games with her closest friends. She also enjoys a delicious cup of coffee.
