Lynn was born and raised on her family’s farm in Illinois. After marrying her childhood sweetheart, Jack, she worked with young people teaching music and as a volunteer at church and the local Christian school before entering college to prepare for a teaching career. She enjoys sharing the practical experiences from 16 years of middle school teaching with future teachers. She desires to prepare teachers with a biblical worldview who, by God’s grace, can then inspire and encourage their own students. When Lynn is not teaching, she enjoys reading, biking, and taking long walks with Jack and their dog, Cappuccino.
