Audit is paying for the privilege of attending a credit class without taking it for credit. Generally, audit students do not submit assignments, take examinations, or participate in class discussions. Online courses may be audited. Columbia International University Bookstore is the campus bookstore serving the students, faculty and staff of CIU. Best known for his seminars on marriage, the family and parenting, James M. “Buck” Hatch, served Columbia International University as a teacher, counselor, and administrator for almost 40 years. A pioneer in the field of biblical counseling, Hatch taught and counseled not from a platform of strength, but from his own experience of brokenness and pain. He was honored as CIU Alumni of the Year in 1998, and went to be with the Lord in 1999. His timeless messages from scripture can be found in the Buck Hatch Library.

Church Health Consulting & Leadership Coaching
Dr. Roy King, Director of Alumni Ministries, has worked with over 500 congregational and parachurch leaders in the past 7 years. He is available for email and phone consultations on a variety of issues facing leaders. He also maintains a network of other consulting and ministry resources from around the world.
Roy can help leaders diagnose problems and develop a strategic plan that may include other CIU faculty. Ministries served are asked to reimburse any travel and/or materials costs. Fees and honorariums are determined by those served after service is received. Gifts can be designated for Church Health.
