It’s another small, but significant and historic step toward intercollegiate athletics at Columbia International University.  On April 19, lights went up on the soccer field under development at CIU.  A generous donation to CIU Athletics from an anonymous donor paved the way for the development of the field.  A sprinkler system and grass will soon follow. 

Soccer, Cross Country and Volleyball are the first sports in a five-year plan as CIU gears up for intercollegiate athletics for the first time in the school’s nearly 90-year history.  Find out more about CIU athletics at: http://www.ciu.edu/rams-athletics.
