Columbia International University hosted 51 prospective students – the school’s largest-ever Seminary and Graduate School Preview Day – on March 25.

Guests toured the campus and the new Pine View Apartments, experienced chapel, ate with professors, asked questions of a panel, and attended the “Passion Is” fair.

Professors in CIU Seminary & School of Missions and the CIU Graduate School gave personal attention to students as they visited tables dedicated to specific degrees.

“You can go all around the world, and people will know CIU,” explained Jean Chang, a current CIU seminary student. Jean was so impressed by the lifestyle of the CIU alumni she met around the world, that she decided to attend CIU herself.

Reflecting on her Preview Day experience, prospective graduate student Kaitlyn Allen, a graduate of Mars Hill College, said she felt welcomed by the CIU family.

“I felt like they genuinely cared and wanted me to be part of it,” Allen said.

“I'm taken aback at how enriching the atmosphere is, and the biblical practices and lifestyles that are represented.  As (CIU) was founded it still breathes today.”
