Record Attendance Set at Homecoming 2013

Over 900 Columbia International University alumni “came home” to celebrate their alma mater’s 90th birthday—a record attendance for homecoming. From Oct. 31-Nov. 2, alumni celebrated the rich history of CIU, got acquainted with current students, and looked forward to the future of the school.

Some of the highlights included a Chapel that featured interviews with CIU’s four living presidents: Robertson McQuilkin, Johnny Miller, George Murray and Bill Jones. A Friday night concert was headlined by Grammy Award winners Steven Curtis Chapman and CIU alumna Laura Story. History was made as the weekend ended with the CIU Rams playing intercollegiate basketball for the first time in school history: http://www.ciu.edu/newsstory/history-first-intercollegiate-basketball-games-ciu
