Summary

This position supports Enrollment Management through management of computer systems and databases, including outbound communication strategies at all stages of the enrollment process. 

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain communication strategies for prospective students including printed letters, emails, phone calls, text messages and social media
  • Manage all aspects of Salesforce (CRM), Eventbrite, and components of the admissions module in Jenzabar EX.  Includes:
  • Assigning counselor territories
  • Creating actions & action lists
  • Processing daily procedure
  • Uploading & exporting data
  • Print & email merge documents
  • Using the Mass Add function
  • Writing & editing queries
  • Writing & running reports
  • Creating filters & rules
  • Maintaining data integrity
  • Run reports out of both EX and Salesforce for weekly enrollment tracking
  • Assist with editing inquiry forms on the web for general inquiries, events, and specific campaigns
  • Edit and update web content on admissions web pages, including text, tables and graphics
  • Facilitate periodic in-house staff training programs to develop competency of systems usage for enrollment staff

Qualifications

  1. Natural technical ability paired with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Close attention to detail with understanding of the big picture
  3. Ability to work and make decisions independently within context of enrollment purposes and goals
  4. Ability to work on a team and consult with the team when planning strategies
  5. Strong skills in writing and copy editing preferred
  6. Knowledge of computers and other office equipment
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Thorough knowledge of and ability to articulate CIU’s undergraduate, seminary and graduate school mission, educational goals, core values, educational philosophy, academic programs and admissions policies and procedures
  9. Bachelor’s degree required
  10. Experience working with HTML code required
  11. Experience with recruitment management systems and databases preferred
