Ben Lippen School, a division of Columbia International University, seeks a Headmaster beginning the 2013-14 school year. Founded in 1940, the school enrolls more than 800 students from Pre-K through 12th grade on two campuses in the capital city of Columbia, South Carolina. Ben Lippen provides an effective academic education with a distinctly Christian worldview. Ben Lippen School seeks a Headmaster who will lead the school into its next phase of development, building on the progress of recent years. The school enjoys a dedicated faculty and staff, supportive parents, and an admirable student body. 

 

The Headmaster is the Chief Executive Officer, academic, and spiritual leader of the school and reports to the School Board and Provost of Columbia International University.  The Headmaster is expected to build upon the existing strengths of Ben Lippen and to provide strategic, visionary leadership as the school enters the next phase of its development.  Key traits of the right candidate include a demonstrated Christian faith, strong relational and team-building skills, and experience and competence in articulating and implementing a strong vision for the school. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
