The first part is an informative message by Dr. Beyer on the new structure of the student life department. He talked about Chapel, Health services, and Fellowship groups. The second part of the message talks about the spiritual formation process at CIU; "The Big 5." (Biblical and Ministry Standards, pp.3-5) The Big 5 are a relationship with God (worship, prayerfulness, faith), a biblical self-image (confidence, self-discipline, stability), a relationship with the Body of Christ (community, unity, submission), personal relationships (purity, faithfulness, servanthood), and a relationship with the World (eternal perspective, conviction, perseverance).
