Student Employment

Some CIU students fund a portion of their educational expenses by working a part-time job.

Student Employment Opportunities

Our Christian university offers employment opportunities on and off campus. That includes the federal work-study program as well as other jobs through our Career Services office.

CIU’s student employment program provides valuable work experience to you both inside and outside of your field of study, as you perform necessary jobs on campus. You are employed part time, which helps pay for your education and reduce loan indebtedness. The students also make valuable contacts, position themselves for internships, develop new skills — including time and money management — while identifying career interests.

You are paid the current state minimum wage and you receive a paycheck at the end of every month worked.

Federal Work-Study

Federal work-study is based on financial need and provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students. The program encourages community service work and work related to your course of study.

On-Campus Positions

On-campus positions are listed on MyCIU beginning in August of each academic year. Just search the list of job openings and contact the supervisor for an interview.
