How may I change my arrival time/other item on my registration form.

How will I know who my host student will be?
- The week of the event you will receive an email with your host information.
- We will connect you with your host during Residence hall check-in.
I will be flying to Columbia. Can someone pick me up?
CIU provides complimentary pick up and drop off at the Columbia Airport. Please arrange pick up/drop off at least two weeks in advance. Contact Tina Tindle at 1.800.777.2227, ext. 5058 or ttindle@ciu.edu .
Do you need to know if I'm bringing additional guests to CIU Preview?
Yes! You can send any changes to your guest number to ttindle@ciu.edu. Please indicate event title and event date along with the changes.
Can someone register at the event?
Yes. We will have registration forms available at registration on Sunday evening from 6:30 – 7:15 pm as well as Monday morning from 7:30 – 8:00 am for “walk-in registrants”. Please note: Students must register at least 2 weeks before the event if they wish to stay ovenight in the residence halls.
I have a friend who wants to come. Does he or she need to register or can they just come along with me?
If your friend is also interested in attending CIU, he or she is considered a prospective student and MUST register too. Guests (parents, family friends, family members) are not considered prospective students and do not need to register; however, please indicate your number of guests on your registration form.
What should I wear?
The dress for CIU Preview is casual. Students typically wear t-shirts/other tops and jeans/pants/skirts to class.Please do not wear shorts. To view our dress code click Student Handbook.
What should I bring?
Your Bible and, if spending the night in the residence halls, a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, alarm clock, and umbrella (if forecast calls for rain).
Where will my family/guests stay?
A hotel list is available for married students and/or family members/guests staying overnight in the Columbia area.
Are families/guests welcome to attend?
Yes! Feel free to invite your family or other guests. Note that no childcare will be provided.
